My journey as a tattoo artist

began in 2012 in Cusco, Peru. At that time I was living in the Peruvian Andes for a voluntary social year & was able to start my tattooing education at Maui Tattoostudio in Cusco.

After my time in Peru gave me a classical tattoo education with machine, I learned the technique of handpoked tattooing during a trip to Mexico in 2017. The art of handmade tattoos has its origins in ancient cultures from all over the world & is still practiced today in various of these cultures.

In our modern societies as well as in tribal cultures, tattoos serve as a ritual element & a means of expressing one's identity. This ritualistic factor is very important to me in my own tattoo work, as through many years of practicing this work I have experienced how powerful the act of tattooing can be when done with the right setting, set & intention.

I offer both - machine tattoos & hand-poked tattoos - in my private studio in Munich & during my travels in different studios around the world. Depending on your wishes & design, a mixture of both techniques is also possible.

Through this work I aim to create a bridge between the different realms of our modern, progressive world & the tribal cultures with their ancient wisdom.
